We actively seek and find those in need and bring them into the community so they don’t fight their own demons alone. Through collaborative programs such as our service dog program, lifelong tools and training are offered to help ensure a brighter future. A future filled with the ability to go out in public, take the children to sporting events and spend time with the family. Something long lost and forgotten to those who struggle with PTSD. We do this as a community strengthened through a bond thicker than words and born through battles untold.
Volunteer Opportunities
Being a IGY622 volunteer is your opportunity to engage and connect with veterans and community members while generating community impact in a real and tangible way. Led by veteran volunteer leaders, each group of volunteers work with dedicated community partners and other volunteers to provide the manpower and support that they need to help them do their work more effectively.
